Honorees are recognized for their enhancement to overall performance, effectiveness within the workforce system, customer service skills, innovation, peer leadership, and commitment to the board mission. Sheng Wood was additionally recognized as the Service Innovator of the Year from among the 24 Workforce Champions.

It included the Kenosha Human Development Services, Goodwill Industries, the Office of Veteran Employment Services, ResCare Workforce Services, WTRP Big Step, the Racine YMCA First Choice Pre-Apprenticeship Program and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development among others."
Jennifer Ditscheit, DWFS Business Services Representative in the Southeastern Wisconsin Region, is interviewed by Milwaukee television station WTMJ regarding recruiting efforts during the 2019 holiday season.
Representing DWFS on August 28, 2019, at in Shawnee, Oklahoma is Tom Summar, Regional Director, and Kim Chapman, One Stop Operator for the Central Oklahoma Workforce Investment Board meeting. Tom shared the great progress the DWFS team is making on annual performance expectations as the new program year gets underway. Kim continues to embrace her role as OSO, and shared some news with the Board about her work throughout the COWIB region. Great work, Tom and Kim!

Dynamic team members understand the value of continuous professional development and took advantage of that learning opportunity by participating in the 2018 NAWDP Annual Youth Symposium.
The event this year was held in Chicago from December 12-14th and is considered an excellent investment in our Youth Programs. This is also a great opportunity for DWFS team members from across the country to spend time learning together and sharing best practices.
